Procurement Strategy & Function Building

Build and enhance a unified, end-to-end procurement function across all production sites, standardizing policies, processes, systems, and team to support continued growth

Develop and implement a strategic sourcing roadmap across the site network, aligned with growth objectives and margin targets

Own all beef and meat raw material procurement across every site, buying to plant specifications and managing supplier relationships with packers, ranchers, and traders

Trade the beef and cattle complex actively, monitoring USDA, FRED, CBOT, and other market data to time purchases, manage price risk, and set hedging strategy

Source all associated dry goods and ingredient inputs across the network, including seasonings, spices, cure, binders, breadcrumbs, casings, and packaging substrates (film, corrugate), ensuring quality, supply reliability, and cost competitiveness

Oversee indirect procurement across all sites in conjunction with production teams and site leaders

Implement spend visibility tools and reporting to drive accountability and continuous cost reduction across all categories
