The Food Service Worker is responsible for safely performing contract duties as assigned by management. Quality customer service is expected at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job are required. Part‑time and full‑time positions are available; shifts include evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Role Requirements- Understand oral and/or written instructions.
- Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
- Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s).
- Pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
- Global Connections to Employment is a federal contractor; team members must have received or be willing to receive the COVID‑19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for this position.
May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in varied weather conditions. Most work takes place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals and be required to follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid‑morning, afternoon, evening hours, weekends, and holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds;
