Position Summary
Pen Air Credit Union is seeking a forward-thinking, strategic executive to serve as Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer (SVP/CLO). Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CLO will lead the vision, strategy, and performance of the consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending divisions, driving sustainable growth through a data-driven approach, proactive portfolio management, and enhanced member access. This executive will align lending initiatives with the credit union’s strategy, regulatory standards, and evolving member needs.
As a key member of the executive team, the CLO will contribute to strategic planning, provide meaningful insight and reporting to the Board of Directors, and serve as a trusted advisor on portfolio performance, market opportunities, and overall lending strategy. Additionally, the CLO will develop and mentor direct reports and cultivate a high-performing, member-centric culture throughout all lending functions. A bachelor’s degree is required;
an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of eight years of executive experience at a credit union or bank with more than $1 billion in assets is required.
