Hours/Days: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday (Schedule may change based on Department needs).

High school diploma, Leadership experience, Conflict resolution, Strong background in preparing and reviewing incident response documentation.

Summary of the main function/purpose of the position:

To supervise the Courtesy Patrol staff as per company and supervisor guidelines.

  • Initial Interview of applicants
  • Training of new employees
  • Respond to managerial calls for service.
  • Keep resort Management staff informed of issues
  • Recommend promotions and terminations
  • Keep time reports current
Occasional duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:
  • Coordinate with local Law Enforcement for off duty Officers to augment security staff during certain holidays or emergencies.
  • Complete assignments that are directed by the General Manager and/or the Director of the HOA.
  • Participate in Hurricane Action Plan preparation and post-storm duties.

Safety:
To provide a safe working environment for all employees.

Customer Service:

To be responsible to company managers and owners for the enforcement of HOA Rules and Regulations and to provide access control.

Specific:
Operation and maintenance of the property-wide camera system.

Supervisory Responsibility:

To supervise the Courtesy Patrol employees specifically and all employees in general to ensure continued adherence to company policies and the Mission, Vision, and Values.

Educational and/or equivalent in experience requirements:

Based on relevant work experience.

Specialized or technical educational requirements:
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing is required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
  • Ability to organize and write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and the public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical and budget information.
  • Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Certification or licensing requirements:

CPR / AED training certificate or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time.

Specialized equipment or machines used in the course of the duties of the position.

Personal Computer, printer, radio, cell phone, calculator, and standard office equipment and machines as required. Operation of wheeled vehicles as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands and is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk. The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee must be able to walk several flights of stairs at a time in case of emergencies.
