Role Description

The Glass Fabrication Plant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pensacola, FL, responsible for leading daily plant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees production schedules, monitors workflow on the shop floor, and ensures that glass cutting, tempering, and finishing processes meet quality, safety, and delivery standards. The Plant Manager leads and mentors production teams, coordinates staffing and training, and promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include managing inventory and materials, optimizing equipment utilization, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with sales, logistics, and leadership to meet customer requirements. The role also involves overseeing the office, controlling costs, maintaining compliance with company policies, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Strong plant leadership skills with experience in Glass , Plant Management and Plant Operations.
  • Proven background in Operations Management, including workflow optimization and resource allocation.
  • Hands-on experience with Production Planning, capacity management, and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of glass fabrication operations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to supervise, coach, and develop diverse teams, with effective communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Competence in using production management software, basic ERP or inventory systems, and standard office tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize under time constraints.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in operations, industrial management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing or fabrication facility strongly preferred.
