Fish cutter

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team in a food preparation role focused on cutting, portioning, and preparing fish products to meet quality, safety, and presentation standards. This position plays an important part in supporting daily production, maintaining freshness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Cut, trim, portion, and prepare fish products according to company standards and customer requests.
• Inspect product quality, freshness, and appearance before and during preparation.
• Use knives, cutting tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures at all times.
• Package, label, and arrange fish products for display or shipment as needed.
• Monitor inventory and report product shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support efficient daily operations.

• Experience in seafood preparation, butcher work, food processing, or a related role is preferred but not always required.
• Ability to handle knives and cutting tools with care and precision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in cold environments.
