As a load inspector, you'll set the tone for a great customer experience by greeting incoming drivers, identifying and inspecting loads from incoming trucks, and directing trucks and customers at the facility.

• Inspect loads for quality, weight, packaging, hazardous materials, and safety.
• Direct traffic throughout the facility to ensure loads are dumped in the proper locations.
• Report load inspections to scale operator(s) to correctly pay customers for their materials.
• Write inspection reports and metal tickets as needed.

• Enjoy an active role where no two days are the same
• Ability to communicate well with customers and coworkers
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to work in all elements such as rain, cold, and heat

• High School Diploma or G.E.D

While performing the essential functions of this job, the Load inspector will be working in an outdoor environment. The employee may be near moving mechanical parts and will be exposed to all weather conditions. The noise level in the environment can be loud and will require ear protection. The employee is required to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.

This job also requires frequent bending, kneeling, and standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in confined spaces.
