We are seeking a dynamic Labor & Delivery RN to join our team. The role involves caring for obstetric patients in a patient-centered care model, making clinical assessments, and managing treatment autonomously.

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues.
• Evaluate the obstetrical patient for any situation that may compromise the well-being of mother and fetus.
• Participate in routine deliveries as well as planned or emergent cesarean sections.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support to patients and families throughout their stay.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida; multistate licensure or ability to obtain licensure prior to start required.
• 1 year of RN experience in Labor & Delivery.
• BSN preferred.
• Neonatology Resuscitation Credential within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor certification within 60 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor certification prior to employment start date.
