Assistant Director of Nursing; ADON

Overview

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a skilled nursing neighborhood. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating new hire orientation programs, educational in‑service/clinical programs, and training for all nursing personnel. The ADON oversees the infection control program as a designated infection preventionist to comply with Federal and State regulations, provides training to nursing staff, and assists the Director of Nursing with management and administrative functions.

• Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum five years of clinical experience, preferably in long‑term care
• Experience with in‑service education
• Clinical supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of principles of nursing care and Federal and State regulations governing long‑term care facilities

$90,177.00 - $ per year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
