We are looking for an experienced ER Veterinarian to join our team as an overnight doctor! Mass Vet is an elite tertiary facility in the Boston area practicing exceptional medicine. Want full‑time status and more time off? Want to generate more income? You can do both at Mass Vet! 9 shifts per 4 weeks is a full‑time schedule with benefits, with the option to commit to additional shifts for a higher income. Shifts are scheduled from either 5 PM or 7 PM to 8 AM.

• 9 shifts per 4 weeks – $180K
• 10 shifts per 4 weeks – $200K

• 6 shifts per 4 weeks – $125K

• 5 PM/7 PM – 8 AM with a balance of weekday and weekend shifts
• Work alongside at least one overnight doctor every night, along with swing ER doctors until 1 AM.
• Separate and dedicated ICU and ER nursing staff.
• Primary responsibility is management of hospitalized patients with some ER receiving starting at midnight.
• Very generous salary with voluntary picked‑up shifts paid as a bonus + hourly.
• 3 weeks PTO.

• We are a 48,000 sq ft, premier VECCS Level 1 certified emergency and specialty hospital located 11 miles north of Boston.
• Recent hospitalization expansion includes a new specialty lobby, 8 new operating rooms, a new endoscopy suite, expanded clinical areas, and a brand new ICU and isolation.
• We’ve also added a new cardiology‑focused fluoroscopy unit and new MRI. Coming soon is our brand‑new CT with 3D imaging capabilities.
• Our new seltzer machine has been a huge hit with the team, expanding our spacious break room that includes a multitude of beverage and food items and comfortable seating.
• Access to cutting‑edge diagnostics and treatments including digital cytology, therapeutic plasma exchange, dialysis, high‑flow oxygen, ventilation, SUB placement, interventional radiology and more.
• Ethos Compounding Pharmacy located within MVRH.

• Excellent technician staffing with highly skilled nursing staff.
• Average ER doctor tenure of 5+ years.
• ER department comprised of 35 ER clinicians and Criticalists – and always growing!
• Comprehensive specialty services including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Radiology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Oncology, Anesthesiology and Critical Care. Many services are available 7 days a week.
• Part‑time onsite social worker available for clients and staff.

• Robust House Officer Program includes Radiology residents, Neurology resident and interns, and Surgery residents.
• ER Immerse program – structured training program designed to provide training and mentorship for veterinarians looking to excel in emergency medicine in lieu of an internship or residency.
• Frequent in‑house RACE approved CE opportunities.
