Full-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate) for First Cash pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. The successful candidate will earn a base hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.

Pay and commission details: The retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.77 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop a rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Completes required training and other related duties as assigned.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, climbing, etc.) in accordance with applicable laws.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Willingness to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas as needed.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations; cash handling experience is preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations as business needs dictate, including weekends and holidays.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
