Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The role is a combination of customer service, sales, and loan processing.

• Greets and engages customers, building rapport and recommending appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs open/close procedures and maintains the sales floor.
• Handles sales and loan transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Processes cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answer incoming calls following company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions clearly.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes required training and any additional duties assigned.

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with extended periods of standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Willingness to work flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers and be team‑oriented.
• Multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Computer literate and proficient with POS systems and office machines.
• Capability to work in multiple locations and to assist with firearms after certification.

• Competitive hourly rate of $15.00 to $18.00/hr.
• Commission up to 8% on transactions.

Commission incentives are proprietary. Pawnbrokers may earn 2–8% based on gross profit of personal performance. Detailed information is provided during the interview.
