Job Description – Overview
Hobby Lobby is seeking organized, customer service oriented people to join our team as a Framer. We need enthusiastic individuals who are motivated, responsible, and have the drive to make the most of a career with us. We are an exciting, ever changing, growing upscale chain. Hobby Lobby carries a full range of art and craft supplies as well as a large home accent department, seasonal merchandise of all varieties, fabric and floral departments.
We sell ready‑made frames, open‑wood frames and make custom frames as well as carrying a variety of supplies. We are currently looking for a seasonal framer. Stores are open Monday through Saturday, 9:00AM to 8:00PM and we are closed on Sunday.
Starting seasonal rate: $15.75 – $16.75 per hour.
Responsibilities- Ordering supplies
- Ensuring the department is clean and well stocked
- Providing excellent customer service
- Meeting all framing deadlines
- Framing art, needlework, and cross‑stitch pieces
- Knowledgeable with fine arts
- Experience in custom molding for picture framing
- Excellent customer‑service skills
- Merchandise display experience
- Basic computer skills
- Trustworthy and dependable
- Provide previous work references
