The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new rental revenue through new and existing H&E Rental customers. The ideal candidate should be people-oriented, aggressive, sales driven, and a team player.

Outside Sales Earnings Potential

Our commitment to recognizing and rewarding talent is evident in our sales representatives' earnings. The top 10% of our sales reps averaged over $200,000 last year, and our average sales reps earn between $75K - $100K within the first 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation:
    Generate new rental agreements and grow existing customer revenue within a defined sales territory.
  • Prospecting & Relationship Building:
    Build prospects and foster strong business relationships to expand the customer base.
  • Sales

    Activities:

    Perform cold-calls and conduct job site visits to identify and pursue business opportunities.
  • Software Utilization:
    Regularly utilize customer resource software to track leads, manage accounts, and identify potential business opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales

    Experience:

    Previous outside sales experience preferred.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational

    Skills:

    Excellent organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software applications.
