Seasonal Field Sales Representative
We are hiring a Seasonal Field Sales Representative for a seasonal position that will run through the end of October.
This role is paid $15.00 per hour with 15% commission, a $500 sign on bonus after training, and a $500 monthly bonus for selling at least 50 contracts per month. The position requires a valid driver’s license and is paid full-time hourly while traveling within assigned territory.
OverviewThe primary purpose of this role is to sell our residential pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers, while maintaining a customer‑focused service to grow the business.
You will be the face of our national brand to your local community and will protect homes and families through expert pest solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities- Walk assigned residential territories (often 6–8 hours a day) to engage homeowners in face‑to‑face conversations.
- Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, and related issues; based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to increase opportunities.
- Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and develop proposals to resolve existing pest issues while proposing additional services.
- Complete floor plans in the Sales CRM to ensure a clear understanding of each customer home and potential challenges.
- Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
- Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure the job is completed satisfactorily.
- Track daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; experience or training in sales is highly preferred.
- Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
- Ability to travel up to 100 % of the time within the assigned territory.
- Ability to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently.
- Regular movement: sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, using stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles; maintain balance on narrow or slippery surfaces.
- Comfortable handling of different pests and working in small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics.
- Proficient in driving and maintaining a company vehicle.
- Willingness to wear PPE, including OSHA-compliant respirator, and to work in confined spaces and narrow aisles.
- Move up to 10 pounds occasionally while lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects.
- Spend long periods sitting while using office equipment.
- Perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers such as typing and picking.
- Communicate verbally and absorb spoken information at normal speaking levels.
- Maintain near‑range visual acuity for detailed tasks.
