Job Description

The Laboratory Technician I will use general laboratory methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with Eurofins Quality Assurance programs and SOPs. The role supports laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies.

Laboratory Technician I Responsibilities
  • Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis.
  • Perform sample preparation, including but not limited to: aliquot samples; spike and trace samples; prepare reagents; bottle samples; prepare concentrations; separation; sonication; liquid rack set up.
  • Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled.
  • Prepare general laboratory paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and laboratory logbooks.
  • Wash laboratory glassware for next day’s samples.
  • Stock laboratory supplies.
  • Clean work area(s) to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist other laboratory areas as needed.

Basic

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • High school chemistry coursework and basic laboratory experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
Location & Hours

Pensacola, FL, USA. Full‑time Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Pensacola, FL are encouraged to apply.

Pay Rate

$16 hr.
