Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control by verifying credentials and badges, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service.

- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas during patrol rounds, checking doors, gates, and common areas for irregular conditions and reporting concerns through the designated chain of command.
- Complete required reports and activity logs, communicate with site contacts and/or public partners as needed, and assist with crowd and line management during higher-traffic periods.
- Have 1+ years of security experience.
- A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
