Job OverviewAs a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of healthcare and related industries. Joined as a Part‑Time, unarmed driving patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security‑related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.
Position DetailsPosition Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $20.66 / Hour
Job Schedule: Wed 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM;
Thur 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and activity, assist with visitor direction, credential checks, and other site‑specific protocols.
- Document incidents, daily activities, and policy‑related concerns in a clear and timely manner, following post orders and healthcare location guidelines.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- Valid driver’s license (for driving roles, following Allied Universal driver policy).
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical‑related field.
- Background investigation and drug screen as required.
- Compliance with state and local licensing requirements.
- Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
