Are you eager to grow your career in the construction industry?

If so, don’t wait—apply today and start building your future with us! What Your Day Looks Like

Your day begins early, either meeting at the shop or traveling directly to the jobsite. After loading materials, reviewing the scope of work, and completing a safety check, the crew gets to work. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Reading measurements and using shelving templates to accurately cut materials, pre-drill holes, and securely install custom closet shelving.
  • Installing shower door kits and custom shower doors, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and finish.
  • Measuring, leveling, and mounting mirrors to professional standards.
  • Securely mounting towel racks, toilet paper holders, and other bathroom accessories.
  • Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools for each job.
  • Communicating professionally with homeowners, builders, and project leads to confirm details and ensure quality expectations are met.

You’ll work in a variety of environments depending on the job site and season. Safety procedures, tools, and proper equipment are always provided. The workday continues until the job is completed to trade standards, after which you’ll head home knowing the work was done right.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be part of a small crew led by an experienced foreman. Team members look out for one another, work safely, and take pride in doing the job right. If you show up on time, follow safety guidelines, and are willing to learn, you’ll feel supported and welcomed.

What we are looking for
  • 2-3 years of experience in the construction field.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
  • Able to walk around residential job sites and navigate different environments.
  • Comfortable working with ladders to get the job done.
  • Physically capable of lifting and transporting materials up to 50 lbs.
Physical Requirements / Essential Functions

This position involves regular movement throughout the workday, including standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in a variety of positions to install wire shelving, shower doors, mirrors, and related hardware. The role may require lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and tools weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as working in confined or awkward spaces. Successful performance requires good manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Employees must be able to navigate residential job sites and complete final punch‑out tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Company-paid life insurance.
  • Longevity Stock Program.
  • Support from the IBP Foundation.
  • Scholarship opportunities for growth.
  • Paid vacation and holidays.
  • Employee Financial Assistance Program.
  • Opportunities for career advancement.
  • 401(K) (Pre-Tax and Post-Tax) Roth 401(k) with company matching.
  • Supplemental insurance options, including short- and long-term disability, accident coverage, and critical illness insurance.
