Seeking a Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience, strong CAD skills, and the ability to manage projects end-to-end while mentoring technicians and supporting commissioning.

Responsibilities
  • Project Manager/Estimator play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our customer's buildings.
  • You will be responsible for the estimating, design, and project management of commercial fire alarm systems.
  • You will ensure that components are installed, inspected, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the customer.
  • In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also act as a mentor, providing on-the-job training to technicians, fostering a culture of growth and knowledge-sharing within our team.
  • Estimate/quote fire alarm systems (and other low voltage systems) based on provided construction documents and plans
  • Complete fire alarm trim, programming, and commissioning phases.
  • Identify code and non-conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards.
  • Design code compliant fire alarm and other low voltage systems utilizing CAD software.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years' experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
  • Ability to utilize CAD software for fire alarm designing.
  • Experience in designing fire alarm systems from small to large scale projects.
  • Extensive experience and expertise with applicable codes for life safety systems.
  • Ability to travel to projects that are out of the Pensacola, FL area for commissioning and testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 3 or 4.
  • Experience in installation, testing, service, and maintenance of BDA/DAS systems.
  • Experience in other low voltage systems including (but not limited to): access control, cameras, data, networking, and speaker systems.
