Marine Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the repair and maintenance of both inboard gas and diesel engines as well as outboard engines. General knowledge on most mechanical systems on boats including sailboats, power boats, and pleasure boats is a must. Preferable minimum of 3 years of experience. • Annual and hourly servicing.
• Oil and fluid changes.
• System flushing.
• Diagnose mechanical issues to determine best course of repair.
• Knowledge and capability to tear down and rebuild engines is a plus.

• Assess overall condition of motors.
• Perform services.
• Repair parts as needed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, particularly when handling hazardous materials.
• Properly dispose of or recycle materials in accordance with environmental regulations.

• Work closely with other team members, including other technicians and supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding project status, challenges, and needs.
• Provide input on process improvements and best practices in boat repair and refinishing.

At least 3 years of experience in Marine Mechanical.

• Knowledge on inboard gas and diesel engines.
• Knowledge on outboard engines.
• Knowledge on rebuilds and repowers.

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
