We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Sign Installation Technician to join our growing field operations in Pensacola. In this role, you will handle the safe loading, transportation, assembly, and precise commercial signage installation for local business clients. This role is an excellent fit for individuals with a background in light electrical work who enjoy active field projects and working outdoors. Looking for applicants with some of the following skills:
Some low voltage electrical experience...some concrete wall forming (especially using Form liners) experience desired...
skills as a lighting service tech, and a sign installer is required! Metal shop experience including welding would be a bonus but not required.
Operating heavy equipment...i.e. excavator, digger derrick, bucket trucks, etc. is required. Working at heights safety training a plus. Vinyl printing and laying on plastic substrates is another skill that would be a positive. The more of these job skills you possess, the better...mechanical aptitude, a good work ethic, and the ability to adapt and learn are all very important. I need fast-learners and hard workers.

In person

• Signage Installation & Fabrication: Transport, assemble, and securely install various sign types, including dimensional wall-mounted letters, monument signs, post-and-panel signs, and banners.
• Site Preparation & Assembly: Read blueprints/work orders, perform precise field measurements, and utilize proper structural anchors according to local building guidelines.
• Equipment Operations: Safely operate a variety of power tools , hand tools, ladders, and safety equipment.
• High-Access Work: Utilize scaffolding safety protocols and safely operate a boom lift ,
  aerial platform , or bucket truck when required by the project.
• Vinyl Handling: Assist with the precise alignment and application of large-scale vinyl graphics and wraps.
• Qualifications & Requirements:
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a sign installer ,
  field and/or shop welder , or apprentice electrician ).

  Proficient with commercial power tools , hardware, and heavy-duty fastening systems.
• Physical Capability: Must be comfortable working at heights (
  bucket truck operator experience is a must) and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly in changing Florida weather conditions.
• License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable driving record to operate company service trucks. CDL license to operate our Digger is a plus.
