Tire & Lube Technician

The Tire and Lube Technician is an entry‑level position within the Hertz Corporation and serves as the launching point for our maintenance team. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance with a focus on oil and tire changes. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can work with an assortment of tools, including oil filter wrenches, a socket set, and a toolbox.

$16.00/hr.

Must be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver license.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Entry‑level position with no required experience.
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional).

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight.
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire‑changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.

• Familiarity with the following tools (to be provided):
  • 3/8” and ½” impact wrench
  • Socket wrench – metric and standard – preferably long and short lengths
  • Oil filter wrenches and tools
  • TPMS tool – reset tire sensors
  • Combo wrenches
  • Screwdrivers
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
