Schedule: Monday – Thursday; 8AM – 5PM;
Friday; 8AM – 12PM with flexibility to work some Saturdays and evenings as required

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Community Development Home Repair Coordinator leads the hands-on completion of critical home repair, accessibility, and minor rehabilitation projects. This role serves as the on-site technical point of contact during active project work, including scope walkthroughs, quality inspection, and day-of coordination with subcontractors and vendors. The Home Repair Coordinator works in close coordination with the CD Operations Associate on day-to-day project and crew scheduling, and reports to the Director of Community Development on project strategy, budget, and quality outcomes.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:PROGRAM DELIVERY
- Commit to Pensacola Habitat for Humanity's mission of building homes, community, and hope.
- Work 40 hours each week, including some evenings and weekends as project demand requires, and drive a company vehicle to and from job sites as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to homeowners, subcontractors, and internal staff regarding active repair projects.
- Work with the Community Development Operations Associate, the Director of Community Development, and the Construction Department to ensure repair projects are completed effectively and on schedule.
- Conduct home assessments for critical home repair and accessibility projects, including documenting repair needs and determining project feasibility.
- Provide on-site technical input into scope of work and cost estimates for Community Development repair projects, in coordination with the CD Operations Associate.
- Coordinate and complete minor to moderate residential repair projects, including:
- Drywall installation and repair
- Interior and exterior painting
- Flooring repair and installation
- Minor plumbing and carpentry repairs
- Deck and ramp repair or replacement
- Door and frame replacement
- Siding and fence repairs
- Minor demolition
- Installation of grab bars, handrails, smoke detectors, fans, and other accessibility modifications
- Flag the need for subcontracted or permitted work that falls outside the scope of direct hands-on completion, and coordinate with the CD Operations Associate on engaging and scheduling that work.
- Serve as the on-site technical point of contact for subcontractors and vendors during active project work, including scope walkthroughs, technical clarifications, and day-of coordination.
- Inspect completed subcontractor and vendor work to confirm quality standards, code compliance, and adherence to scope.
- Coordinate day-to-day project and crew scheduling with the CD Operations Associate to keep the repair pipeline on track.
