E&I Technician; Electrical & Instrumentation

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level CEREX Advanced Fabrics is seeking an experienced E&I Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation) to join our maintenance team. If you have a strong background in industrial electrical systems and enjoy troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining critical plant equipment, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation systems Troubleshoot motors, transformers, PLCs, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, loop diagrams, and technical manuals Perform preventive and predictive maintenance Coordinate repairs and downtime schedules with operations teams Manage spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards

High school diploma required Minimum 3 years of industrial/manufacturing E&I experience Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems Experience with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and switch gear Journeyman-level E&I experience preferred (certification a plus) Strong computer and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in industrial environments, including elevated temperatures
