As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Journeyman Electrician to help power up our mission.
Position OverviewAs a Journeyman Electrician
, you’ll work alongside our expert installation and service teams to wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment. Your role will be critical in delivering safe, code-compliant installations and troubleshooting services for residential and light commercial generator systems.
- Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
- Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Assist in preparing generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components
- Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power systems
- Use electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safely
- Ensure all installations meet local and electrical codes
- Promote a safe and positive work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
- Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License or Residential Wireman License
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the NEC ( Electrical Code)
- AC and DC electrical experience
- Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
- Comfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test meters
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions
