REMEDI8 is seeking Field Service Technicians to serve as Fire Damper Inspectors, traveling nationwide to inspect commercial fire-rated dampers for compliance with NFPA 80 standards. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy travel, independence, and supporting life-safety compliance in healthcare and commercial facilities. - Professional, customer-focused demeanor
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently while traveling extensively
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100% of the time
- Ability to work occasional overtime, nights, weekends, or modified schedules
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings (motor vehicle record, drug testing, background checks, etc.)
- Prior experience with fire dampers, fire doors, HVAC, life safety systems, quality control, or compliance
- Familiarity with NFPA standards (NFPA 80), inspections, or regulated environments
