Sr. Backend / Java Engineer

Business Unit:
Digital Execution

• W2 (with 56 hours PTA): $60–$70/hour
• C2C: $70–$75/hour

Hybrid (Onsite 3x/week)

• 7–10+ years total backend development experience

• Microsoft Teams video interview (technical screening)
• In-person panel interview

• Java 17+
• Spring / Spring Boot
• Microservices Architecture
• Microsoft Azure (strongly preferred)
• Databases & SQL
• Version Control:
  Git or SVN
• Azure Dev Ops (

• AI-powered Dev Tools:
  Git Hub Copilot, AI-assisted debugging

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for mobile and online banking channels
• Ensure service performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Analysts, QA, Frontend Engineers)
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and defects
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation

• Strong understanding of web applications, web services, and networking
• Solid knowledge of application scaling and interconnected system performance
• Experience in Agile environments
• Familiarity with sustainable coding and energy-efficient system design
• Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies
• Preferred:
  Banking / Financial Industry domain experience
