Senior Automation Engineer With Playwright, AI-Assisted Testing
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, practical enterprise experience with cloud-native solutions on AWS, and experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate automation. The successful candidate will help guide cloud architecture decisions, establish implementation patterns, support platform engineering efforts, and contribute to emerging AI-enabled development and delivery workflows, while ensuring quality across our applications and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Claude or similar) to generate test cases, author and refactor automation scripts, and improve coverage and speed.
- Help guide cloud architecture decisions and establish reusable implementation patterns.
- Support platform engineering efforts and contribute to emerging AI-enabled development and delivery workflows.
- Build and execute automated test suites for web applications (UI, API, and end-to-end).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test coverage and acceptance criteria.
- Leverage AWS services to support test environments, infrastructure, and execution at scale.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI testing tools, and define best practices for their effective and responsible use.
- Analyze test results, debug failures, and report on quality metrics.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation best practices.

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Claude) to generate and accelerate automation work.
• Practical enterprise experience building and supporting cloud-native solutions. Deep AWS specialization is not required, but candidates should understand how to apply AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Watch, IAM) using established architectural best practices.
• Solid understanding of automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).
• Strong API testing experience (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI).
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and Agile delivery practices.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience building agentic or prompt-based testing workflows.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
