Mule Soft Integration Developer / Senior Mule Soft Integration Engineer

Role
Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using the Mule Soft Anypoint Platform to connect applications, APIs, data sources, cloud services, and enterprise systems. The role focuses on API-led connectivity, reusable integration patterns, secure data exchange, and scalable enterprise integration architectures. Responsibilities are aligned with Mule Soft implementation practices and enterprise integration requirements described in internal Mule Soft-related artifacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integrations using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform.
- Build, deploy, and support System, Process, and Experience APIs.
- Create RESTful and SOAP-based integrations between enterprise applications.
- Develop data transformation and mapping logic using Data Weave.
- Implement secure API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SAML.
- Configure and manage API gateways, policies, throttling, and security controls.
- Design error handling, retry mechanisms, exception management, and logging frameworks.
- Develop scheduled, event-driven, and real-time integrations.
- Monitor and optimize integration performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with business, application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to define integration requirements.
- Prepare technical design documents, mapping specifications, API contracts, and deployment guides.
- Support CI/CD implementation and Dev Ops automation for Mule Soft deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide L3 support for critical integrations.
Required Technical
Skills:
- Strong experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Platform
- Mule 4 development experience
- API-led Connectivity Architecture
- Data Weave transformations
- REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSD RAML/OAS (OpenAPI Specification)
- Anypoint Studio API Manager Runtime Manager Exchange Cloud Hub / Hybrid Deployment
- OAuth 2.
