Warehouse Associate

Adecco is seeking a Warehouse Associate. In this role, you’ll play an important role in making sure freight gets where it needs to go by working alongside a top-caliber management team that understands the transportation industry. You’ll be supported by a passionate team motivated by fast-paced innovation and the desire to deliver for customers at every step of the experience.

  Onsite - Pensacola, FL

• Pay Rate: $17.00 /hr

• Shift: Monday - Friday - 8:00 am – 4:00 pm / Saturday
  -6:00 am – 11:00 am

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders.

• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to verify that loads arrive on time and in good condition.

• Take check calls from drivers to ensure timely delivery and validate load data for accounting purposes.

• Read and process work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.

• Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.

• Maintain a safe environment by ensuring the warehouse is accessible and adhering to all safety policies.

• Experience loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners.

• Dock or warehouse experience within the transportation industry is preferred.

• Basic computer skills and written/verbal communication skills.

• Critical thinking ability to carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form.

• Physical Ability:
  Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and work on your feet.

• Flexibility:
  Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, due to varying freight volumes.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
