Job Summary
Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist – Individual Contributor (Management Level). Must work on site at a specified Cox location. No remote option.
CompensationHourly base pay $15.10 – $22.69, depending on location and candidate qualifications. Eligible for additional commission or incentive programs.
Key Responsibilities- Input accurate vehicle information into AS400 using a handheld device for each vehicle received at the auction.
- Record VIN, stock number, dealer , make, model, year, mileage, color, options, and other details.
- Affix barcode/stock number stickers on each vehicle received.
- Associate Tracker device to work order number and install on OBD port or strap 2nd‑generation tracker around the steering wheel.
- Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
- Flag "no key" cars.
- Direct transporters to the proper drop zone.
- Report transport damage as required.
- Take a digital image of each vehicle upon receipt.
- Provide proper sale identification windshield code to drivers at the registration/check‑in area.
- Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures.
- Collaborate with safety leadership to support Safety Excellence activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, such as assisting on sale days or driving vehicles through auction sales lanes.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb, and lift 1–15 pounds.
- Vision requirements: close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.
Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions; moderate noise level.
