Class A CDL Driver – United Rentals

Join United Rentals as a Class A CDL Driver and help deliver equipment to customers safely, timely, and courteously while advancing your career with a leading equipment rental provider.

Responsibilities
  • Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
  • Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") in accordance with DOT classification CDL‑A.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements for equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre‑trip inspections.
  • Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of DOT‑regulated commercial driving experience.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45lbs.
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
  • Strong attention to safety.

Safety Sensitive position in accordance with United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

Driver – Mobile Storage

Drive Mobile Storage equipment at United Rentals, performing job site work such as block, level, skirt, and more while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
  • Prepare truck, tools, and supplies for scheduled work orders.
  • Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") consistent with DOT classification CDL‑A.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements for equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre‑trip inspections.
  • Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Driver – ROS

Drive and support portable restroom units, tankers, and related equipment as a Driver – ROS for United Rentals.

Responsibilities
  • Drive/transport equipment directly to customer locations on time and in a safe and courteous manner (100% of the time).
  • Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
  • Provide onsite moves of equipment, and pick‑up/delivery as requested.
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on vehicles; maintain truck logs.
  • Load and unload units.
  • Fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for additional services and supplies.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping of assigned vehicles and facility.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of DOT‑regulated commercial driving experience.
  • Valid Class A CDL driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Must have Tanker Endorsement.
  • Strong attention to safety.
  • Ability to use technology to accurately keep a "Record of Service" & "HOS" for DOT compliance.
  • Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45lbs.
  • Ability to drive day or night; some weekend work may be required.
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures.
  • Work effectively in all weather conditions and customer work environments.
