Inventory Clerk

Description

We are looking for a diligent Inventory Clerk to join our team in Pensacola, Florida. In this short-term contract to permanent position, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and organization of our inventory processes. Your attention to detail and ability to manage asset tracking will be essential for maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock maintenance.

- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.

- Maintain detailed records of assets and inventory, ensuring all entries are up to date.

- Collaborate with assembly line teams to track materials and ensure timely delivery.

- Support annual physical inventory activities, including preparation and reporting.

- Identify and resolve inventory-related issues to minimize disruptions.

- Ensure compliance with inventory management protocols and company policies.

- Generate inventory reports and provide insights to support operational decisions.

- Assist in organizing and optimizing storage areas to enhance efficiency.

- Coordinate with other departments to streamline inventory-related processes.

Requirements - Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.

- Familiarity with assembly line operations and material tracking.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.

- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various teams.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Knowledge of inventory protocols and best practices.
