Builders First Source - 1500 West Main Street - Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trucks or customer vehicles and install strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit;
Drive forklifts or other lifting devices to move products, equipment, or materials around the warehouse, shop, or yard;
Perform load-building, determining the appropriate weight, composition, and placement of load based on customer order and vehicle capacity to ensure balance and safety;
Convey materials to or from storage to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other devices;
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on containers to provide correct identification of items
