Overview
We’re looking for an Accountant to join our team and help connect America. Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a critical member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the consolidation of subsidiary monthly financials, analyzing financial data, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in GAAP, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with consolidation of subsidiary monthly financials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Review subsidiary results, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce ad hoc reporting on consolidated company, department activities, industry and customer trends.
- Assist with projects, including process improvements, control initiatives, and system implementations.
- Foster professional development and technical skills.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Five to seven years of relevant work experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and sound analytical skills; CPA license preferred.
- Advanced technical skills with Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
- Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Hyperion Smart View, and Essbase.
- Experience with Google Drive and Smartsheets considered a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently, with attention to detail, independently and collaboratively, meet demanding deadlines, and prioritize workflow.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals at all levels.
