The Video Editing Assistant will edit high‑quality, engaging video content tailored for social media platforms. This on‑site role supports NOVA’s marketing goals by creating videos that resonate with audiences across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, and You Tube.
Qualifications- 2+ years of professional video editing experience, portfolio work, or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, Canva, and Captions AI.
- Experience creating social‑first content that aligns with platform trends and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to adapt to digital marketing trends.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate degree preferred.
- Edit and produce engaging, trend‑aware videos optimized for social platforms to increase audience engagement.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging social media trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Support filming and content production as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure video content aligns with brand goals.
- Maintain familiarity with marketing compliance policies and procedures.
- Schedule and publish video content across social platforms in alignment with campaign calendars.
- Track and report on key social media metrics (engagement, reach, click‑through rates) and use insights to improve performance.
- Develop and write engaging copy for social media post captions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
