Job SummaryAs a Customer Service Representative I (CSR I), you will assist internal and external customers and sales representatives with order entry, providing professionalism, skill, and expediency.
Essential Functions- Accurately process and ensure the correctness of customer transactions in the order entry system (orders, quotes, returns, etc.).
- Maintain accurate customer, territory, and facility records and document all customer interactions.
- Generate reports and monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, Company, State, and Federal policies.
- Adhere to Accounts Receivable policies and gain understanding of them.
- Verify price and terms according to standard procedures and customer profitability profiles.
- Multitask across multiple computer systems and communication platforms.
- Maintain current knowledge of company products, policies and procedures.
- Develop strong working relationships across business functions, customers, and manufacturing partners.
- Provide impeccable customer service and sales support; respond to queries, answer questions, and solve problems in a timely manner.
- Communicate pertinent information from customers to outside sales representatives or appropriate management.
- Identify customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products or solutions.
May also place outbound calls to existing customers to identify and suggest additional products, increasing sales and services.
Required Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- General computer proficiency, including MS Office.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in SAP or a related ERP system.
- Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday.
- May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds (office supplies or equipment).
- Communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Read and interpret various electronic and written documents.
Work is conducted in an office environment with desks, chairs, computers, and other office equipment.
Travel & On‑CallMinimal travel (10%) locally for sales ride‑alongs or training opportunities.
CompensationPotential compensation range: $16.97 – $22.10 per hour, with the final offer possibly exceeding this range based on location, experience, and skills.
