Location:
Gilbert and Chandler, Arizona

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour (up to $23+ with experience and certifications)

Position Summary

We are actively seeking a competent Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will enhance the efficiency of our dental office and ensure a pleasant experience for our patients. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from patient care to administrative duties, striving for exceptional customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the dental office

• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort

• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed

• Sterilize instruments according to regulations

• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry

• Undertake lab tasks as instructed

• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

• Provide 5-star customer service at all times

• Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dental assistant, including chairside and sedation procedures

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

• Understanding of health & safety regulations

• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing (preferred)

• Good computer skills

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Attention to detail

• Well-organized and reliable

• High school diploma; graduation from dental assistant school preferred

• Additional certification or training (e.g., EFDA, coronal polishing, and X-ray certification) is an asset
