Furniture Coordinator and Space Planner
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in space planning, furniture coordination, workplace planning, facilities projects, or corporate real estate.
- Experience supporting new construction, campus development, renovation, or large-scale workplace projects.
- Knowledge of furniture procurement processes, workplace standards, and occupancy planning.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, furniture plans, and construction documents.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar space-planning tools.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, technology campus, or greenfield construction projects.
- Familiarity with workplace strategy, move management, and furniture asset management systems.
- Experience managing furniture vendors, installation contractors, and workplace consultants.
- PMP, or related professional certification is a plus.
An Insight Global customer is looking to hire a Furniture Coordinator and Space Planner for a new state of the art semiconductor facility in north Phoenix. This person will be brought on to support the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of workplace environments for a greenfield manufacturing campus. This role will be responsible for developing workplace standards, managing furniture and space planning activities, coordinating with design and construction teams, and ensuring office and support spaces are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business requirements.
The position will work closely with Facilities, Human Resources, procurement, IT, architects, consultants, contractors, and business stakeholders throughout the design, construction, occupancy, and operational phases of the project.
