A Special Education teaching opportunity is available for dedicated professionals passionate about supporting K-5 students in a resource setting. This full‑time position offers a chance to work onsite in a vibrant school environment from January 5, 2026, through May 21, 2026.
Location:
- Full‑time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
- Work hours:
7:00 AM to 3:00 PM - K-5 Resource classroom at the Lakin Prep location
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Develop and implement specialized lesson plans tailored to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and update educational goals regularly
- Engage with families and caregivers to support student growth and achievement
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education teaching license
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card is required to be included in the application
- Experience working with students in grades K-5, preferably in resource settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and colleagues
