Within our church family, ministries are thriving. Our Children's Ministry continues to grow through strong leadership and an influx of young families. Our Student Ministry is dedicated to helping students build a biblical foundation while fostering authentic relationships. Most adults participate in Life Groups that meet throughout the week in homes across our community.

New Life is a healthy, debt-free church with more than 500 people gathering each weekend. Our staff culture is collaborative, encouraging, and mission-focused. We are prayerfully seeking a leader who will strengthen our ministry and help us continue to reach people with the hope of Jesus.

The Worship Pastor is a full-time pastoral position responsible for leading the worship ministry while providing pastoral care and fostering meaningful community engagement within the church.

This role is ideal for a spiritually mature leader who combines musical excellence, pastoral compassion, and relational leadership. The successful candidate will help create worship environments that draw people into the presence of God while extending pastoral ministry beyond Sunday gatherings into the everyday lives of our church family and community.

• Recruit, schedule, shepherd, and develop worship team members.
• Identify, mentor, and equip emerging worship leaders.
• Manage and develop technical side of the worship experience, computers, sound, lighting etc..
• Assist youth, senior’s, women’s, children’s ministries, and special events with worship and technical support
• Build and strengthen a vibrant worship ministry marked by both musical excellence and spiritual depth.
• Lead rehearsals that are organized, effective, and spiritually enriching.
• Develop musicians and vocalists in their gifting and leadership.
• Create environments that encourage authentic, Spirit-led worship.
• Provide leadership and oversight for age-appropriate worship ministries in Kids, Student, and Young Adult ministries.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to plan meaningful worship gatherings.
• Oversee worship ministry budgeting and resource management.
• Model and maintain healthy rhythms of work, rest, and spiritual renewal.
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor regarding worship services

• Provide pastoral care for individuals and families seeking spiritual, emotional, or practical support.
• Assist pastoral staff with benevolence, care and comfort and relational aspects of a pastoral position
• Create opportunities for fellowship, connection, and community engagement within the church.
• Perform pastoral duties such as weddings, memorial services, counseling, and visitation according to gifting and experience.
• Help cultivate a welcoming and connected church culture where people are known, cared for, and encouraged in their faith.

• Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and administrative abilities.
• Be a gifted communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Have a minimum of five years of worship leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Possess the musical ability and creativity to lead vocalists, musicians, and production volunteers.
• Be a skilled vocalist and proficient on piano and/or guitar.
