Location: School-Based Program Site
Candeo Peoria School in Peoria, AZ
Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership
Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School Programs, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 3PM-5PM
Wednesday: 12PM-3PM
We are looking for candidates who are available to work the full schedule as listed. We cannot accommodate partial shifts at this time.
Pay: $16-21/hour, based on experience and region
Position OverviewAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive.
This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.
Key Responsibilities Student Engagement & Support- Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
- Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
- Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
- Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
- Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
- Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
- Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
- Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
- Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
- Must meet one of the following requirements: (1) 6 months experience or 12 college credits (2) Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or (3) NAC, CDA or CCP Credential
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
- Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Make a lasting impact in the lives of children.
