One of our top clients is looking to hire a BIM/CAD Facilities Engineer for a new state of the art semiconductor facility in north Phoenix
. This person will be responsible for supporting the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of facility infrastructure through VDC/BIM/CAD software. This role serves as the facility owner’s representative for CAD deliverables and provides coordination between engineering disciplines, construction teams, equipment suppliers, and facility operations.
Responsibilities will evolve throughout the project lifecycle, ranging from design and construction coordination to as-built documentation management, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to each phase. This is a full-time opportunity with our customer, and you can plan to expect a compensation range of $100k to $150k. Exact compensation may vary depending on years of experience and education.
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or associate degree in CAD
- 3+ years of experience in Revit BIM, VDC, AutoCAD, design coordination, or construction engineering, preferably in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, pharmaceutical, data center, or industrial facilities.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related BIM/VDC software platforms.
- Experience with model federation, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong understanding of facility infrastructure systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and utility systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and construction documents.
- Familiarity with BIM execution plans, project data management, and document control processes.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, LOD 100+, AutoCAD
- Semiconductor facility experience is highly desirable.
