Field Engineer

• Support daily construction operations at project sites under the supervision of the Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Site Manager
• Provide on-site technical oversight, engineering guidance, and monitoring
• Assist with preparation, review, and transmittal of project submittals and RFIs
• Follow quality control procedures and inspection protocols
• Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and develop solutions with engineers, subcontractors, and supervisors
• Support cost control through coding timesheets and invoices
• Track quantities and monitor progress of work packages
• Provide planning and scheduling input
• Track and compile materials, equipment, and labor records for change orders and field orders
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly project reports
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input and process-improvement recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or similar discipline from a four-year college or university
• Any GC/EPC experience and/or training, specifically in the energy infrastructure industry is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of P6 and MS Project scheduling platforms
• Highly motivated, self-driven with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help ensure that nobody gets injured
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
• Travel flexibility is required
