Valet Attendant (Full-Time)

Banner Health - Peoria, AZ

$15.15/hr (no tip credit) + Cash tips averaging $5-$10 per hour

Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm (Weekends off)

Driver's license required, minimum 2 years

Referral bonus $250 and sign-on bonus $100 after 60 days of employment

Flu vaccination required for this healthcare location. Provided by the client. Exemptions reviewed with HR and client.

Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. The first person clients see upon arrival and the last when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are crucial.

• Park and retrieve cars efficiently and in a timely manner; greet all customers by name, attend to their needs, and establish rapport.
• Direct traffic to maintain a clean and organized flow.
• Work independently or under supervision as needed.
• Promote excellent customer relations and exceed expectations.
• Handle customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain and care for company-issued equipment.
• Assist with special assignments and projects as requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Responsible and dependable.
• Must pass a background check.
• Effective under pressure; thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills; proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English.
• Team player; open to diverse opinions and supports teammates.
• Good driver with a safe driving record; able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

• Strong customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Parking industry experience preferred.
• Two years of driving experience with an active license required.

• Professional and effective communication.
• Flexibility to work multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to work unsupervised and make independent decisions.
• Sense of urgency and timeliness.
• Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently.
