Job Summary

The Accounting Manager works closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and manage the accounting activities of the company. This includes assisting in the preparation of financial reports, analyzing variances, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and standards. The role is responsible for controlling and coordinating all accounting functions for the organization, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals.

Working closely with the CFO, the Accounting Manager helps develop and implement financial policies and procedures, identifies opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and supports the CFO in managing the financial health of the company while providing valuable financial insights to drive business growth and success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of all accounting records to ensure integrity in financial reporting
  • Prepare financial reports in compliance with internal and external accounting guidelines and policies
  • Maximize technology for accounting processes, data analysis and report presentation
  • Analyze financial data and compile variance explanations
  • Manage capital expenditures and depreciation
  • Analyze expenditures and research opportunities for productivity and cost efficiencies
  • Assist in compilation of budget information from various departments
  • Provide support to external auditors during annual audit
  • Other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-5 years experience working as an Accounting Manager
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications such as Quickbooks Online
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements
