Contents Restoration Technician (Packer/Cleaner)

The Contents Restoration Technician (Packer/Cleaner) is a vital member of our production team. This role is physically demanding and requires a detail-oriented, organized, and compassionate individual. You will be responsible for the careful handling, packing, cleaning, and inventorying of our clients’ personal belongings.

• Packing & Preparation
  • Carefully and efficiently pack clients’ household items using appropriate materials.
  • Disassemble furniture and other household items as needed.
  • Ensure all items are properly protected.
• Cleaning & Restoration
  • Perform initial cleaning to remove soot, dust, and debris.
  • Utilize cleaning agents and techniques under supervision.
  • Assist in ozone chambers and hydroxyl generators for odor removal.
  • Identify specialized cleaning needs and separate items.
• Inventory & Documentation
  • Meticulously categorize, tag, and log all items.
  • Create detailed inventory lists using digital tools.
  • Take photographs of items and rooms.
• Loading & Transportation
  • Safely load and unload packed items into vehicles and storage facilities.
  • Secure placement in storage units to maximize space.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Customer Service
  • Interact with clients professionally and with empathy.
  • Represent the company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in packing, moving, cleaning, or warehouse work is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (30+ lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Willingness to work in environments affected by water, fire, or mold with safety equipment provided.

The role requires constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Technicians will handle boxes, furniture, and other household items in various environments.

Work is performed primarily in clients' homes and in our warehouse/storage facilities. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water, smoke, or mold may occur with full PPE provided.
