Window Packager

Quanex is looking for a Window Packager to join our team located in Phoenix, AZ
.

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and packaging product prior to shipping. Package counts and the correct package ticket information are essential in insuring that all packages meet our customer quality specifications.

• Hours of Operation: 4 am to 12:30 pm (may extend to 1:30pm)

• Follow safety procedures and report any safety or quality concerns.
• Prepare, package, label, wrap, and band products according to customer specifications.
• Inspect orders and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate and monitor packaging equipment, reporting any issues with machinery or tools.
• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow standard operating procedures.
• Meet production goals while supporting team members and assisting in other areas as needed.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to stand throughout the full shift.
• Ability to use hand tools including tape measure air drill, pneumatics fixed straight-cut saw.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
• Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration.
• Must have flexibility to work occasional overtime or additional shift.
• Strict adherence to safety policies.

Salary: The hourly wage for this position is $18 per hour
