About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse in our Medical‑Surgical team, you will provide comprehensive patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and engage in continuous improvement and education.
How you'll contribute- Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care and monitor patient condition, communicating with the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Current state RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- BCLS required.
- ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
- One year of experience preferred.
Valley View Medical Center is a 102,000‑square‑foot acute‑care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings. It offers 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, 8 labor, delivery and post‑partum beds, and a 16‑bed emergency department. It is the only all‑private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
